Is Team Pauls a registered breeder?

Yes! We are registered by Kennel Club of India (KCI)

Do the GSD pups bred by Team Pauls have showing winning parental line?

Certainly yes! We breed German Shepherds, with a program for development of the breed in mind. We sensibly select breeding partners to have pups better than their parents in terms of anatomic and psychological configuration. Our breeding partners have descended from well known lines and they have, most of the times, proved to have thrown very good litters.

Will my pup be registered?

Yes Obviously! We will do all necessary formalities to register your pup, which you will take from us, with the Kennel Club of India (KCI). All you need to do is to transfer the pup’s ownership, after you receive the KCI registration certificate.

How old will my pup be when it goes home with me?

Puppies are old enough to go to their new homes by the time it reaches 8 weeks. Hence, you can take our pups to home with you at around 2 months of age.

What is the life expectancy of a German Shepherd Dog that I buy from you?

Usually a German Shepherd can live upto 10-13 years, if maintained well. As you can understand that we cannot guarantee the life expectancy of an animal – nobody can, it is hence suggested to keep in touch with a registered and recognized vet and give him/her a call if you see the slightest of changes in your dog's behaviour and/or normal habits.

Before paying the advance money how can I be sure of the pup quality?

Team Paul’s, as a German Shepherd breeder, is reliable and trustworthy. We are not a backyard breeder. We will be glad if you visit us and spend some time with our dogs to check them out before you finally decide to proceed with any payments. It would be nice if you can bring with yourself any experienced friend who can assist you in understanding our dogs and the pups. Our team will definitely help you in picking the right GSD pup.

Do your come with a health guarantee for your GSD pup at a minimum, at the time of purchase?

Yes certainly! We do guarantee the overall good health, after having a general health check up of each single pup at the time of purchase. In case you notice any clinical symptom(s) that happens not due to your negligence, we will give you a replacement within 5 days of taking the pup home from our kennel.

Can I expect a vaccinated pup?

Yes! We vaccinate every pup before they go to their permanent homes. Each pups is vaccinated by a registered veterinary practitioner, who also perform a general health checkup and certify the good health before your take the pup with yourself.

Will I get your guidance and assistance in the initial months regarding its feed, exercise, rearing etc.?

Not just in the first few months, but always! As a parent of the GSD puppies bred by Team Paul, you become a part of the Team Pauls, as well. We will be glad to assist you from all possible angles, as and when you may need our help all through your pup’s life.

Can I get any medical advice over phone from you if needed?

Candidly speaking, we have not authorized any of our team mates to provide with any kind of medical suggestions to any pet parents, because we are not registered vets. We do not have knowledge of medical science.  We would suggest you to call a registered veterinary practitioner instantly as needed, instead of calling any non-vet person. However, we can certainly help you with the contact numbers of vets.

Can you guarantee that the pup will never grown as a biter if I buy a pup from you?

We can guarantee that we breed German Shepherds with the desirable traits and characteristics in mind. Therefore while choosing the breeding partners, we keep in mind the genetics, lines, behaviours of past litters and a lot of thoughts are deployed. We take immense pride to tell you that no pups that have gone home from us have turned unpredictable biter so far, and have always exhibited friendly nature.

Biting obviously is not desirable. Biting tendency is a behavioural problem. Most of the behavioural problems are polygenic and are triggered by many factors - also influenced by environmental factors! That means that it’s caused by a combination of non-genetic factors also. We suggest you to treat your pup with compassion and create strong bonding and to socialize your pup to different situations. Do not let a novice train or handle your pup.

Before I go for picking our pup from you, can I expect any kind of help related to puppy proofing?

Sure. Once we know that you are a confirmed parent of our pup, we will surely not mind giving you advices regarding puppy proofing. It is not something that is tough.
